AVI is an accepted format. I have had a simlar problem with moving to BT Infinity a few months back. It also says the resolution has to be less than x I cant think of anything else to try sorry, apart from maybe a different make of USB stick but if its playing stills it should do movies you would think, or try contacting Epson.
Sandra51, thx for your reply. If the stick isnt formatted to what the projector can use then it wont be able to see any files on it at all. You can close System Preferences now.

I recommend that if you do any work with projectors or external displays at all you check the "Show displays in menu bar" box at this point. We've migrated the forum software to a new major version. The black screen comes up to you epsob you are not using the correct codec for video and audio, even you are using an avi file format.
Did you use a converter? My Epson permits only 2 GB. Is there a similar key on the macbook.
If so, how did you create the file? Ensure that the projector's input setting is on the correct input. Once that update is complete, plug the projector into the MacBook Pro.
