For me, that was a DOS command along the lines of "dlditool r4tf. No reply as of yet. I love this idea. I think Tobias Weyand has done a brilliant job with this program, but its just not the right sort of interface for me. Soul though, as a means of music creation, going by the demos, the DS with its limitations doesn't really excite me.

Homebrew cards are not expensive and they are very easy to set up. No this app has got absolutely nothing nitrotrackee do with me, the name comes from the fact that the DS had the beta name "nitro". Also discussed is the amount of effect you apply to the individual elements in a track, whether it be a synth line or a recording, and how nitrotrafker edit the settings in Reverb for greater customization. You can also record directly from the DS's microphone, which is fun.
The use of these sounds spawned an entire genre of music called chiptunes which took a decidedly lo-fi approach to music. This short video by someone else shows Nitrotracker in action: I liked the gui as well.

New NitroTracker talks to your DAW
I do remember Soundtracker, Noisetracker and Protracker on the Amiga But still it looks cool, and thus gets the thumbup. I will write my experiences with NT later.
